The Graduate School@UGA Scholarships

Students of the Graduate School@UGA are eligible for incoming scholarships to come study at the Université Grenoble Alpes as well as outgoing scholarships to do their internship abroad.

The Graduate School@UGA Incoming Scholarship

The Graduate School@UGA Incoming Scholarship is an excellence scholarship aimed at students holding a non-French baccalaureate. It amounts to 13,000 euros and is paid over 2 years (8,000 euros in the first year of the Master's program (M1) and 5,000 euros in the second year (M2)). Additionally, the scholarship covers the M2 internship stipend in a UGA laboratory (approximately 3,000 euros).

This scholarship is granted for the first and second years of the Master's program. By applying, you commit to participating in your thematic program activities for 2 years. Furthermore, in case of repeating a year, the scholarship payment will be stopped.

To apply, you must meet all the following conditions:
  • Be admitted to an M1 or to the 4th year of an engineering cursus participating in a thematic program
  • Be admitted to a thematic program from the Graduate School@UGA's
  • Have an excellent academic record
  • Not be the recipient of another excellence scholarship (Idex, Eiffel, gouvernement français...)
Applications for the GS@UGA Incoming Scholarship are made at the same time as applications to a thematic program of the Graduate School. If you don't have your admission letter yet, you can apply to the Graduate School@UGA with a proof of application to the Master or Engineering course participating to the thematic program that you are applying to.

   

The Graduate School@UGA Outgoing scholarship

The Graduate School@UGA Outgoing Scholarship is designed to promote international mobility for students during their studies at the University Grenoble Alpes. This initiative financially supports Graduate School@UGA students who wish to undertake an internship abroad as part of their research project.

These scholarships range from:
  • €2,000 for an internship lasting between 2 and 4 months.
  • €3,000 for an internship lasting 4 months or more.
Eligibility criteria for Graduate School@UGA students:
  • You must be enrolled in a thematic program of the Graduate School@UGA for the 2 years it covers.
  • You must not already hold a Graduate School@UGA incoming scholarship or an IDEX scholarship
  • All Graduate School@UGA students enrolled in M1 or M2 (or equivalent engineering cursus) are eligible of the outgoing scholarship, but it is only possible to receive the Graduate School@UGA outgoing scholarship once during your cursus.
