The 15 Thematic Programs Associated with Graduate School@UGA

To enroll in Graduate School@UGA, you must choose one of the 15 thematic programs offered, which aligns with your Master’s or engineering track. Each program includes specific, innovative, interdisciplinary, and research-oriented courses.
Enrollment in a thematic program is complementary to enrollment in a Master’s program. Each thematic program brings together several Master’s tracks and/or engineering cycles, creating an interdisciplinary research approach right from the Master’s level.
Once admitted to a thematic program, some of your Master’s courses (Unité d’Enseignement, UE) will be replaced by program-specific courses, totaling at least 6 ECTS per year.
