QS 2024 ranking methodology
Produced for the past 20 years by London-based Quacquarelli Symonds, this year's QS World University Ranking evaluates 1,500 institutions worldwide (1,422 last year) in some 100 countries.
Its ranking process is built around 9 indicators, 3 of which were introduced this year: academic reputation (30%), citations (20%), reputation with employers (15%), faculty/student ratio (10%), international faculty ratio (5%), international student ratio (5%), international research network (5%), employability (5%) and sustainability (5%).
